VERDES 29th JULY! Our first HOME Match 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup

The 2025 Central American Cup Group Stage draw took place on June 3. During the live made-for-TV event in Miami, FL, the 20 clubs participating in the competition were split into four groups of five and will play as follows: 

Group A:  
LD Alajuelense (CRC), Antigua GFC (GUA), CD Plaza Amador (PAN), Alianza FC (SLV), Managua FC (NCA) 

Group B:  
CS Herediano (CRC), CSD Municipal (GUA), Real CD España (HON), Sporting San Miguelito (PAN), Diriangén FC (NCA) 

Group C:  
Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), FC Motagua (HON), CS Cartaginés (CRC), CA Independiente (PAN), Verdes FC (BLZ) 

Group D:  
CD Olimpia (HON), Club Xelajú M.C (GUA), Real Estelí FC (NCA), CD Águila (SLV), CD Hércules (SLV) 

COMPETITION FORMAT 

The tournament will kick off with a Group Stage. In this first round, clubs will play every club in their group once, for a total of four matches per club (two at home and two away) in the five scheduled weeks. 

Group Stage Week 1: July 29–31, 2025  
Group Stage Week 2: August 5–7, 2025  
Group Stage Week 3: August 12–14, 2025  
Group Stage Week 4: August 19–21, 2025  
Group Stage Week 5: August 26–28, 2025 

After the Group Stage, each group’s first and second-place finishers will advance to the Knockout Stage. The Knockout Stage will include home-and-away matches, starting with the Quarterfinals, followed by the Semifinals and Play-In, and the Final, where the champion of Central America will be crowned.
